All Legacy Consulting (“All Legacy“, “we“, “our“) respects the privacy of carriers, drivers, brokers, and visitors who use our website and engage our paralegal and compliance services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
You give us: name, business name, USDOT or MC number, email, phone, mailing address, vehicle information (VINs, GVWR, fleet size), driver records (CDL information, drug & alcohol testing data), insurance certificates, fuel and mileage records, and any other documents you submit so we can prepare and submit federal and state filings on your behalf.
Collected automatically when you visit the site: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, pages visited, and timestamps. We use cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
2. How we use your information
- To prepare, submit, and track filings with FMCSA, PHMSA, state DMVs/DOTs, the IFTA base jurisdiction, and your insurance carrier.
- To respond to inquiries, schedule consultations, and follow up on quotes.
- To send service-related notices (renewals, deadlines, audit notices).
- With your consent, to send marketing communications about new services or relevant regulatory updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with our legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from government agencies.
3. Sharing your information
We share information only as needed to deliver our services or as required by law:
- Government agencies — FMCSA, PHMSA, state DMVs/DOTs, the IFTA base jurisdiction, the IRP base jurisdiction, and the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse, when filing on your behalf.
- Insurance carriers and process-agent partners — only the data needed to coordinate filings.
- Service providers — hosting, email delivery, customer relationship management, payment processing, drug-and-alcohol testing labs and Medical Review Officers, and analytics. These providers handle data on our behalf under contractual confidentiality.
- Legal compliance — when required by subpoena, court order, or applicable law.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use first-party cookies necessary for the site to function (session, language preference) and analytics cookies that help us understand which pages are useful. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site features may not work without them. Where required by law, we display a cookie banner with consent options.
5. Data retention
We retain client records for the periods required by FMCSA and other applicable regulations: drug-and-alcohol testing records for 1, 2, or 5 years depending on result type (49 CFR Part 382); IFTA mileage and fuel records for 4 years; driver-qualification files for the duration of employment plus 3 years. Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9. We will respond within the timeframe required by your applicable law (typically 30–45 days).
7. Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults engaged in the motor-carrier industry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be notified by email to active clients.
