How filings work
Your insurer issues a policy. We file the federal forms — MCS-90, BMC-91X, BMC-34 — directly with FMCSA on your behalf. FMCSA records the filing against your USDOT number. If your policy lapses, FMCSA gets notified automatically and your operating authority can be revoked. We monitor every filing and renew before that happens.
What we file for you
- MCS-90 — endorsement to a primary liability policy proving the federally required minimum coverage.
- BMC-91 / BMC-91X — proof of public liability filing for motor carriers (form X is for split coverage).
- BMC-34 — proof of cargo insurance filing.
- BMC-84 / BMC-85 — broker bond filing (for brokers and freight forwarders).
